Today we celebrate our first ambassador of the week who happens to none other than Chauncey Luce! Chauncey is an extremely talented, dynamic student and even better person. Him and I led numerous new student orientation sessions this past summer and he conducted himself with the utmost professionalism and unwavering ethical behavior. Chauncey understood that as a student orientation leader, he was an example to the students he was guiding and that meant bringing your A-game to every session. At our hangout, where the orientation leaders met and got to know each other, he was warm, welcoming and always had a joke that brought everyone to laughter. As an e-media major, he is more than tech-savvy; we were again partnered together to create a short video on wearing masks and social distancing while on campus and he recorded it, edited it sent it to our program directors for campus-wide distribution. Professional, academically-dedicated and genuinely kind, Chauncey symbolizes the values the University of Cincinnati stands for and, more broadly, the values society relies on to further kindness and embracement with each other.
