Hello folks and welcome to week 10 of my blog's reflections! We're already over halfway through fall semester and it has certainly been quite the journey. I wanted this week's post to reflect (no pun intended) my attitude about the academic sides of things which is HIGH MOTIVATION and a strong desire to finish the second of the fall semester on a high! Bearcats are known for our unwavering commitment to excellence and because our values and academic culture calls for it, success is the only option. Our commitment to ourselves is equally as important; therefore, DO YOUR BEST in every course and turn in every assignment. If you started off a little slow this semester, this is now the time pick up the pace and really make a difference! Draw inspiration from wherever you can find it! I find such inspiration from my family, my values, the good life I'm blessed to have and live and the success of those around me. If you're a first generation student like me, you're carrying the hopes of those that came before you and of those who are living right now and cheering for you. To the entire Bearcat family: lets make sure our effort in the classroom reflects the very best of our own values and those of the school. As always; love yourself, be brave, be kind.
