Hello everyone and welcome to week 9 of my weekly reflections! I want to start by saying that I sincerely hope if you find yourself reading this post, that you are in good health and with motivation to continue to succeed both academically and professionally. This week I want to talk about being grateful despite the circumstances. We have to acknowledge that we are not living in normal times. The challenge is, however, that we must go on with our lives and responsibilities despite of the new reality we've been living in for the past seven months. I don't have great motivation to do my school every week; some week it is very difficult to remain focus. I thrive off human interaction and the fact we must interact physically distant does weigh down on me quite often. When sadness sets in, we tend to lose sight of everything that is going right in our lives. As for me, I remind myself that my family loves and supports me. My friends are also there for me and support me. I am doing well in school and my professional career is progressing as well. Again, we acknowledge the circumstances we find ourselves in but we embrace the challenges we face and respond with power and grace. I challenge each and everyone of you to react to the challenges you face and win in the end!
